Thailand’s Opal Suchata Crowned Miss World 2025 in a Stunning Finale
It was a night to remember in Telangana, India, as the curtain fell on the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant—and the spotlight shone brightly on Thailand’s Opal Suchata, who walked away with the crown.
The month-long event brought together 108 incredible women from across the globe, celebrating not just beauty, but purpose, passion, and the power of representation. With challenges that tested everything from talent and public service to digital storytelling and runway presence, the competition gradually revealed its brightest stars.
After the fast-track rounds and personal interviews, 40 quarter-finalists emerged—carefully grouped by continent. Among them was Nigeria’s own Joy Mojisola Raimi, who proudly advanced to the top 20.
From there, the field was cut to eight, and then to four finalists representing their corners of the world. Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje led from Africa, joined by Martinique’s Aurélie Joachim, Poland’s Maja Klajda, and Thailand’s Opal Suchata.
Each finalist took on a final question—designed to reveal their heart, vision, and commitment beyond the stage lights. Their answers made the difference.
In the end, Opal Suchata captured the title of Miss World. Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje was named first runner-up, followed by Poland and Martinique in third and fourth places respectively.
Moments after the crown was placed on her head, Opal delivered a message that struck a chord:
“This moment isn’t just for me—it’s for every girl who’s ever dreamed of being heard, seen, and creating real change.”
A queen was crowned—and with her, a new chapter for Miss World begins.
