Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has opened up about her childbirth experience after welcoming her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
According to her, labour contractions began suddenly around 3 a.m., forcing her to rush to the hospital much earlier than expected. She revealed that all her plans to get dressed up and create content for the big moment went out the window the moment the contractions kicked in.
Her baby boy, Rakeem, also chose his own timing — arriving earlier than his due date, which was originally set for the same day as his father’s birthday. In a lighthearted post, Priscilla joked that her son wanted his own special day, teasing Juma Jux that their little one didn’t want to share the spotlight.
The couple had earlier celebrated their love with a lavish six-part wedding ceremony held across Tanzania and Nigeria between February and May this year.
In July, they announced they were expecting their first child through a joint Instagram post, followed by a baby shower in Canada on July 27. The event was attended by close family and friends, including Iyabo Ojo and actress Lola Alao.
They later shared moments from their maternity shoot and hosted a gender reveal party in Tanzania, where it was revealed that a baby boy was on the way.
