Offset has spoken candidly about why his marriage to Cardi B came to an end and why he no longer sees marriage in his future.
The Migos rapper, who secretly tied the knot with Cardi in September 2017, shares three children with her—Kulture, Wave, and Blossom. But after years of ups and downs, Cardi filed for divorce for the second time in August 2024, a process that is still ongoing.
While Cardi has since moved on and is now dating NFL star Stefon Diggs, Offset remains single. Speaking on the Full Send Podcast, he admitted that the weight of marriage—and even serious relationships—doesn’t fit his lifestyle anymore.
According to him, making a relationship work often requires completely reshaping one’s life, something he says he’s no longer willing to do.
“It’s not for me. I’ve done it, had three kids with it. For me, it’s like a mission already complete. I experienced it,” he said. “Even getting a girlfriend feels like a huge commitment with the way we move in this career. I’m tired. Unless you’re ready to change your life entirely, it’s different, especially when it’s written and official.”
Despite the personal changes, Offset has kept his focus on music. He recently dropped his album KIARI on August 22, 2025, featuring collaborations with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Gunna, YFN Lucci, Ty Dolla $ign, John Legend, and Key Glock.
For him, music continues to be the space where he can fully express himself—no compromises required.
